The co-surfactant comprises a C6- C12 alcohol ethoxylate having between 3 and 10 moles of EO. In one embodiment, the cleaning composition is substantially free of alkyl phenol ethoxylates. The cleaning composition is capable of removing soils including up to 20% proteins and has a neutral pH.

Abstract:The present invention relates to a method of laundering fabric comprising the step of contacting a liquid laundry detergent composition to water to form a wash liquor, and laundering fabric in said wash liquor, wherein the laundry detergent is contacted to water in such an amount so that the concentration of the laundry detergent composition in the wash liquor is from above 0g/l to 4g/l, and wherein from 0.01kg to 2kg of fabric per litre of wash liquor is dosed into said wash liquor, and wherein the liquid laundry detergent composition comprises: (i) detersive surfactant comprising anionic detersive surfactant and non-ionic surfactant, wherein the weight ratio of anionic detersive surfactant to non-ionic detersive surfactant is greater than 1:1

(ii) surfactancy boosting polymer

(iii) from 0wt% to 10wt% fatty acid

(iv) silicone suds suppressor

(v) structurant

(vi) enzyme

and (vii) nil-boron enzyme stabilizer

wherein the electrolytic strength of the composition at a concentration of 1g/l in de-ionized water and at a temperature of 25 DEG C in mScm-1 is less than 200mScm-1.
